Treasurer
Samantha Ryder
I am pleased to hold the role of Treasurer of the Border Collie Club of South Australia. I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the club in a practical, reliable, and organized way, supporting good financial stewardship and the continued success of the club’s activities.
I have been a member of the Border Collie Club since 2020 and value the community, knowledge and shared commitment the club provides for Border Collie owners, exhibitors and supporters. My ongoing involvement has given me a strong appreciation of the club’s purpose, its members, and the importance of clear, accountable committee roles.
I bring previous experience as Treasurer of the Blackwood Calisthenics Club, where I developed an understanding of the responsibilities involved in managing club finances, maintaining records, supporting committee reporting and handling financial matters with care and transparency.
I have also been involved in the dog show world for the past 15 years. This experience has given me a broad understanding of the commitment required to support club events, exhibitors, and volunteers. I am passionate about the breed and am the proud owner of three lovely black and white Border Collies.
I intend to approach the Treasurer role with diligence, integrity and a strong focus on accurate record keeping, timely communication, and responsible support for the committee and members.
