Membership of the Border Collie Club of South Australia entitles you to first-hand notification of any news, events, results and social events pertaining to the club, and admittance to our private Facebook group to view discussions, latest breed updates, committee meeting minutes and other official documents. You will be entitled to discounted entry fees for our shows and trials, exclusive access to members-only events and/or classes and eligibility to participate in the Top Dog Awards. You will also have access to pre-sales on public events prior to public sale.

We aim to give all owners, breeders, enthusiasts and lovers of our breed a place to work together for the development of our breed and club in order to host more events, promote the breed and educate. Membership is not restricted to DogsSA members, ANKC bred dogs, or South Australian residents. We do not require you to own a purebred Border Collie - we welcome all who wish to join our club, celebrate our breed and participate in our events or Top Dog Awards. With regard to breeders we do however via our affiliation with DogsSA and the National Border Collie Council only allow those who breed and/or intend to breed who are able to and agree to abide by our Code of Ethics, which by extension means we will only list breeders and pedigree litters registered through Dogs Australia. This is not intended to exclude, rather to encourage adherence to and continual improvement of best breeding practices.

Please Note: Submission of the online membership application form and associated agreement is regarded as your acceptance of the BCCSA Code of Ethics.

Membership runs from 1st July to 30th June annually.

​New applications received April to June are half price for the remainder of the financial year.

Membership Fees

After submitting a form, fees can be paid via bank deposit or EFT/cash in person - this requires verification for membership to commence so please forward transfer receipts etc. to the club or allow time for transactions to be reconciled against form submissions by the Treasurer and Secretary.

The last round of club apparel orders was in February 2025. Some club branded items are in stock regularly such as caps, beanies, tea towels, stubby holders, collars, leads and bandanas - get in quickly to gear up for winter with our great range of hoodies, puffer jackets, vests and beanies!
